In the lead up to the release of their much-anticipated fourth album Stories For Monday, out April 1, American pop-rock band The Summer Set have dropped another track off the upcoming album.
Personally dubbed ‘their best song yet’, Jean Jacket combines nostalgic lyrics with moody synths and a catchy beat. Throw in a Bruce Springsteen reference and a sexy saxophone solo on the bridge, and you’ve got a perfect summer anthem.
Jean Jacket is the third release from Stories For Monday; following sassy break up tune Missin’ You and the dramatic, self-reflective Figure Me Out. For a band who almost broke up in 2015, The Summer Set are doing a mighty fine job of proving themselves. Their new record might just be their most innovative and dare I say it, best, yet.
